ABOUT ME
Growing up as a teenager in a middle-class family in India, I had no clue about life, what mental issues were or how they affected people. The only health issues I was aware of involved physical illness. For the first time, after finishing high school, I left home to stay in a hostel while preparing for my entrance exams. I was a good student, scoring well in my exams, but I didn’t know how to cope with the stress. I started facing anxiety issues, which gradually developed into severe OCD. Being unaware of what was happening to me and not knowing who to approach for help, I struggled in silence. Unfortunately, the most precious years of my life—five to six years—were wasted dealing with these issues without proper guidance and support. Through my journey, I learned various tools and techniques, as well as brilliant pieces of wisdom, which I have decided to share through this channel. By doing so, I hope to help others avoid the struggles I faced and enable us to grow together as a community
